Australia’s largest cultural and science celebration for the ocean is back for its fifth year, bigger than ever! Expanding beyond Bondi, the 2025 Ocean Lovers Festival will run throughout March across Sydney, bringing together art, ideas, music, and action to inspire and drive ocean conservation.

From sustainable boat and dive shows, to ferry tours showcasing marine restoration and conservation programs as well as Trashion Parades, there’s something for everyone. Get hands-on with marine bioblitz citizen science initiatives, where you can help document marine life, or take part in interactive workshops, ocean-friendly markets, and cooking classes. Ocean advocates can also dive into thought-provoking panels on sustainable seafood, Indigenous sea knowledge, and marine innovations.
